My approach

I work with adults (individuals aged 18+). My approach is integrative, humanistic, and person-centred. I work collaboratively with you, tailoring the therapy to your individual needs and drawing on a range of modalities as appropriate. The aim of our therapy sessions is to empower and support you in taking back control of your life and moving forward with meaningful change.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: you are the expert on your own life. My role is to support you by walking alongside you with empathy, understanding, and care, while providing a safe and welcoming space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. We move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, without pressure or expectation. I listen deeply, not only to your words but also to the emotions beneath them. Within this empathic, respectful, and compassionate space, you are free to be your authentic self. From here, the possibilities for deeper self-understanding, healing, and personal growth can begin to unfold.

Support for life’s challenges

I offer support to help you navigate life’s challenges and transitions including:

  • Experiences of trauma and abuse (past or present)

  • Childhood experiences

  • Struggles with anxiety, depression, or low self-worth

  • Existential concerns (meaning, purpose, identity, and direction)

  • Grief, loss, or bereavement

  • Relationship and family challenges

  • Work related difficulties

  • Ecological anxiety

Your journey

In therapy, you can explore your concerns and begin to reconnect with parts of yourself that may have felt lost, find new clarity, and discover a stronger sense of who you are. It can be a journey of renewal: letting go of old patterns, gaining fresh perspectives, and feeling more grounded in mind, body, and spirit. I am here to support you as you rediscover your resilience and step into a more confident, whole version of yourself.

The number of therapy sessions

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and many people begin by simply wanting to see if it feels right for them. Some clients come for just a few sessions to focus on a specific issue, while others stay longer to explore things more deeply.  Every person’s journey is different, and it takes time to build a positive therapeutic relationship in which trust can grow, patterns can be explored, and new insights can be integrated. We review progress regularly and decide together what pace and length of therapy best supports your needs. You are always welcome to start with just one session to see how it feels; there’s no pressure to commit beyond what’s right for you.

Appointments are available online during the week, with face-to-face sessions on Saturdays, making it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
